Learn To Row
Adult Learn To Row
The Fremantle Rowing Club Adult Learn to Row course is a fun way for people over the age of 18 years of age to learn the basic skills of rowing, gain some fitness in the outdoors and meet new friends.
The structured course will be held on Sunday mornings at 7:00am and runs for 8 consecutive weeks.Â
The course is designed and run by one of our coaches, David Vandas a former national oarsmen from the Czech Republic who has achieved international success. In 2012, David turned his hand to coaching and has attained a level 3 coaching accreditation in Australia. This adult learn to row program is based on a program that he designed and implemented in Queensland with proven success.
You will learn the basic rowing action, how to move and handle all equipment correctly and safely and at the completion of the course be able to row in a four person boat.
